Board Votes to Allow West Park to Move Forward
Earlier this week, because of your staunch support, the Board of Supervisors voted to endorse West Park and allow us to move forward with our plan to build an inland port at the former Crows Landing Air Base.
Thank you for your taking part in this effort.
This week's vote was simply one step in what has already been and will continue to be an exhaustive review process. Our next step is a full environmental review, which will carefully study and analyze all of the impacts and benefits of West Park.
It has been a privilege for me to be a part of this effort thus far, and I look forward to working with you and other local residents to generate the best plan possible to create jobs and an economic engine for Stanislaus County's future.
